Here in central Illinois, I purchase everything possible from Aldi. I supplement a bit via infrequent trips to Kroger, Schnucks and Costco for certain items. We mostly quit eating eggs!
Schnucks! That’s yiddish for doofus! Or do you pronounce it to rhyme with “bucks”? And I think the European Aldi has a lot of things the North American doesn't, and vice versa. Does yours have the Plant Menu range? If so, I highly recommend the chicken Kiev!

It rhymes with “bucks” and is a family name but now I’ll think of it as “doofus.” I am not familiar with Plant Menu but will look for it.
