Spots
There was a time, not long after I repatriated to the United Kingdom, when I thought I would become very rich writing and recording radio spots, often with my own adorable southern California accent, and often with character voices. This will give you idea.
About a decade later, walking around in Nerja, on Spain’s southern coast, I realized that I really like old-fashioned country music. I made this little video demo in hopes of local publicans offering me pounds a-plenty to entertain their patrons. I designed this gorgeous logo in Salobreña, thinking that I would team up with guitarist Darryll du Toit of the Freudian Sluts, but for reasons not remembered, so such thing took place!
I nonetheless went on to compose and record around 30 country classics, in the style of Hank Williams, after whom I named my backing band, the Clean Hankies.

I love old country music.
