Two meditations on dementia
A few years ago I encountered an extraordinary poem by Owen Darnell about dementia, and was so moved by it that I set it to music (as I later learned others had done before me) and made a a video.
Not long thereafter (just as you realize you have few left, the years start to pass in a week or two), I saw the terrifying The Father, starring Anthony Hopkins, and wrote both the words and music for “God’s Waiting Room”.
